William Fetter was credited with coining the term computer graphics in 1961[1][2] to describe his work at Boeing. One of the first displays of computer animation was Futureworld (1976), which included an animation of a human face and hand—produced by Ed Catmull and Fred Parke at the University of Utah.
3D computer graphics creation falls into three basic phases:
3D modeling—the process of forming a computer model of an object’s shape
Layout and animation—the motion and placement of objects within a scene
3D rendering—the computer calculations that, based on light placement, surface types, and other qualities.
Before rendering into an image, objects must be placed (laid out) in a scene. This defines spatial relationships between objects, including location and size. Animation refers to the temporal description of an object, i.e., how it moves and deforms over time. Popular methods include keyframing, inverse kinematics, and motion capture. These techniques are often used in combination. As with modeling, physical simulation also specifies motion.

Using a system flowchart is a straightforward and easy process that requires little knowledge, because flow charts include a key and use differently shaped diagrams to define certain elements in the system.
1. Create a key for the flow chart. Determine what different symbols you want to use in your flow chart and what they will represent. For example, use rectangles to symbolize the starting point in a system flow chart. Use parallelograms to mark decision-making points and utilize cylinders to represent data storage points and information receptacles.
2. Insert the symbols of the flow chart in such a manner that they follow a hierarchical order or sequence. Use pointed arrows to connect the different elements of the flow chart. Put the elements in sequential order.

Google Maps is a popular site that allows users to locate an address or find directions to a specific location. If you have a Gmail account, you can create a custom map that displays addresses, travel routes and points of interest. You can also personalize your locations with different map icons. Go to Google Maps and log in to your Gmail account by clicking the sign in link in the top right corner of the page (see Resources). After signing in to your account, you are returned to the main Google Maps page. Click the “My Maps” link located next to “Get Directions.”
Click the “Get Started” link, then click “Create new map.” You are asked to name your new map. Enter a name for your map in the “Title” field and a brief description of your map in the “Description” box. You are then asked to select a privacy control. Check the box next to “Unlisted” if you don’t want Google to publish and share your map with the general public. If you select “Public,” your map will be published and be viewable by others in Google’s search results. After selecting a privacy control, click the “Save” button.

HTML, or HyperText Markup Language, provides various tags — including size, font and weight — for representing your text style. Bolded text helps you emphasize particular text to your website users. Use the “<b>” code for quick inline coding. For documents that contain several occurrences of a bolded type, use a CSS style to get consistent and efficient results.
Open your document using an HTML or text editor, and locate the text you want to display in bold. Surround the text with the “<b>” tag. For instance “<b>my text is now bold</b>.” To create a style for bold text, follow the remaining steps.
Locate the “<head>” tags in your HTML document.
Insert a style before the “</head>” tag. Define a style for the paragraph “<p>” tag, using any name you desire, such as “heavy.” For example, “<style type=”text/css”>p.heavy {font-weight:bold;} </style>.” The “heavy” style applied to a paragraph causes the text in that paragraph to be bold. You can apply this to other tags as well.
Insert the “heavy” style you’ve created into the “<p>” tag using the “class” identifier to apply your style. For example, “<p>My bolded paragraph.</p>.”

The process of creating a website is typically associated with a number of costs, like web hosting, domain name registration, and creation of the site itself. However, many of these costs can be avoided by looking at free methods to perform the same functions. For example, you can download a free website theme, then use a free HTML editor to create the entire site — or use said editor to build a site from scratch. Creating a free website isn’t too challenging if you have the right tools.
- Download a free HTML web template to your computer from a site like oswd.org or freewebtemplates.com. These are helpful for if you don’t want or don’t know how to build a site from scratch by coding it yourself. With a template, you’ll need just basic knowledge of HTML in order to replace whatever text and images you like.
- Download a free HTML editor like Aptana Studio or PageBreeze. This is the actual program you’ll use to edit the pages of your website. You can use a more basic program, such as Notepad, but an HTML editor provides more features and a cleaner interface which is much more useful when trying to locate or work with large amounts of text.
- Use the editor to open the HTML files from the template you downloaded.
Typically you can replace any text or images you want with your own, but read the creator’s info, usually in a text file or in the footer of the site, to see what you can do. For example, many free themes ask that you keep an unobtrusive link to the creator’s site in the footer of each page.
